MY DEAL
I’m a writer and creative professional living in Boston, MA, with over a decade of experience in media and advertising.
Currently, I’m a freelance writer/copywriter/editor/strategist/marketer/whatever it is you need. I’m genuinely overjoyed to get to write for a living, and that includes all kinds of writing: everything from branded content, in-house copy, and strategic proposals, to commerce content, reported stories and personal essays. Whatever the genre, I submit clean copy, on time or early, every time.
Before I struck out on my own, I worked for five years at theSkimm, and prior to that, for four years at BuzzFeed. In both roles I was situated on the business end, pitching and writing branded content in pre-sale and post-sale, and collaborating with teams like sales, brand strategy, account management, and design to produce innovative, exciting content in response to RFPs from clients across verticals. This experience means that I’ve gone deep on just about every topic there is, from ESG funds to frozen shrimp, and I’m always able to find and convey a compelling story that readers care about, in a relatable and engaging voice.

For Romper, I talked to a lactation consultant to make the case for MAM baby bottles.
Over at Glamour, I tested many, many toddler pillows.
When Boston Children’s Hospital bought a custom podcast at theSkimm, I produced it—and hosted it, too.
Lest we forget video: Back at BuzzFeed, I concepted, wrote, and helped produce a series of videos for Olay. Here’s one of them.
